This season we're following four friends who are all going through some major life changes. From learning a new language to do standup comedy in a new scene to launching a femme-tech AI startup through France's most famous tech incubator, Station F, we've got some stories for you.

You're all in Paris?

While this podcast started out as a way of keeping my audience apprised with the BTS of my life here, it's opened up to include some of my friends doing interesting things in the City of Light. The show is in English, but we've all lived in Paris from a matter of months to decades.

WTF is a garage monologue?

Back when I was struggling to get back on my feet, and started vlogging daily, I'd often find myself in my parents' garage, talking to my camera. It became a way of processing what I was going through and altered how I saw both myself and the challenges I was facing at the time.

And who the heck are you?

My name is Jay, I'm a writer and a YouTuber living and building my business in Paris. I wrote a lot of sci-fi and fantasy back in the day, have vlogged professionally for a decade, and now produce a lot of videos and documents aimed at helping people fall in love with Paris when they visit.

Who is this even for?

This podcast is for anyone dreaming of moving abroad and starting life over in a new place, country, or planet (that might be a bit of a future demographic).
